            Directions to church:

1. start at 3998 Adamson Branch Rd. in Liberty

2. go south 1/10 mile on Adamson Branch Rd. to Hale Rd. (unpaved)

3. Hale Rd. is at a sharp curve and goes off to the right over a little culvert bridge.

4. Immediately after the little culvert bridge turn left onto gravel road

5. go up the hill one mile.  Church at the end.

6 p.m. The Office of the Holy and Redeeming Passion of our Lord Jesus Christ; Matins of Holy Friday with the Twelve Passion Gospels

     May 3 — Great and Holy Friday

9 a.m. — Royal Hours with Typica

2 p.m. — Great Vespers, Compline with the Canon of the Crucifixion

6 p.m. — Matins of Great and Holy Saturday; Procession with the Burial Shroud; 1st Hour

     May 4 — Great and Holy Saturday

9 a.m. — 3rd, 6th & 9th Hours, Vespers with the Liturgy of St. Basil the Great

11:30 p.m. Nocturns (Canon of Great and Holy Saturday)

     May 5 — Holy Pascha; Resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ

Midnight — Procession, Matins, Paschal Hours, Divine Liturgy of St. John Chrysostom, Blessing of Artos, and eggs ; Blessing of Paschal Baskets

     time? — agape meal

Directions from I-40

1. DO NOT USE GPS.

2. Take exit #254

  No matter if you are coming from the east or the west — take Exit 254.

3. Go south on Rt. 141 towards Alexandria for about 100 yards.

4. Continue going south, straight south, on Rt. 53.

5. Go to Prichard's gas/grocery 

  855 Brush Creek Rd Hwy,   

  Alexandria TN 37012

 (Brush Creek Hwy Rd. is a.k.a. Rt. 53)

     (At this point you can put 3998 Amazon Branch Rd.Liberty into GPS.)

6. About 1/10th mile south of Prichard's Rt. 53 comes to a T.

7. Turn left onto US 70, going east.

8. US 70 is a.k.a Nashville Hwy, go about 5 miles,

      pass Joanna's house,

      pass Rt. 96, which has a blinking yellow light

      pass DeKalb Elementary School.

9. At Rt. 53 turn right (south).  There is no light at this junction.  On the corner is a gas station,"Stop 'N Buy." 

10.  Go south on Rt. 53 to Cave Springs Rd. The junction is hard to find.  It is a road going off to the left.  At the junction there is an old faded sign for Campbell's Automotive and also an old faded sign for Cave Spring Methodist Church.  

The distance between Stop 'N Buy and Cave Springs Rd. is EXACTLY 2.2 miles.  That's two point two miles.  Or two and two tenths miles.

         IF YOU SEE a street sign for GREENHILL Rd. on the right, then you went one tenth of a mile too far.

11. Turn left onto Cave Springs Rd. and go 1/10th mile to the T.

12. Turn left onto Clear Fork Rd.

13. go 1/10th mile to T.

14.  Turn right onto Adamson Branch Rd.

15. Go to house #3998 and then follow the video.

JOANNA'S HOUSE:

Do steps 1—7

Step 8. go 3 miles.  

     My house is on the right just after the construction zone ends, and the road widens to a 4-lane.  Red Brick house on the right.  Off-white metal roof.  No shutters.   Washing machine in the carport.  If you get to the yellow blinking light you just passed it.  I can see that blinking light from my front yard. 

     I purposely do not give you my house number because I fear you will put it into GPS and you will end up driving over 30 miles out of your way, down a long winding mountain road, wasting over an hour.
